Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi: Eligibility & Registration

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, a central sector scheme implemented by the Indian government. Since 1/12/2018 this scheme started to operate. And this scheme was established to supply money as an income support to farmers and their families who are eligible for this scheme and have cultivatable lands. Infact, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, will provide Rs.6,000 per year to small and minor farmers which will be paid in three instalments and will be paid directly into the farmers bank accounts.

In this scheme, the Indian Government provides complete funding. And Then also Not to mention the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi also envisions to contribute towards the fulfilment of the financial needs of farmers in many fields as well as to ensure absolute crop health and also proper yields

Who is eligible  ?

And As per the eligibility standard the following are the categories that wont receive the benefits –

1. All Institutional Land holders.
2. And Farmer families who belong to one or more of the following categories:
3. i) Former and present holders of constitutional post
4. ii) Present and Former Ministers / State Ministers and formers /active Members of Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha /Assemblies of State Legislative  / State Legislative Councils, former and present Municipal Corporations Mayors,/  present & former Chairpersons of District Panchayats.

iii)  All retired / service officers   and employees of State or Central  Government Ministries /Offices/Departments and its field units Central or State PSEs and Attached Autonomous Institutions or offices under Government and the regular employees of the Local Bodies (Excluding Multi-Tasking Staff /Class IV/Group D employees)

1. vi) All superannuated/retired pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs.10,000/- or more and
   (Excluding Multi-Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees) of above category
2. v) All people that paid Income Tax in Previous assessment year
3. vi) People with Professional jobs like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with Professional bodies and by undertaking practices carried out their profession by undertaking practices.

How to register for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi ?

Online registration process

The process of online registration for the PM KISAN Samman Nidhi scheme is as follows:

1. Firstly, Open the PM KISAN portal.
2. Secondly, Scroll down to the ‘Farmers Corner’ and then click on the ‘New Farmer Registration’ option.
3. Then, Open the ‘New Farmer Registration Form’. The registration page will verify whether the farmer is Yet already registered on the portal or not
4. We need to Then, Under the verification, if you are a rural farmer, select the ‘Rural Farmer Registration’ and if you are a urban farmer, select the ‘Urban Farmer Registration’ option
5. Then, Enter your Aadhar Number and select your state from the drop-down list
6. Then ,Enter the captcha and click on the ‘Search’ button
7. The, page will display the confirmation and ask, ‘if you want to register yourself’. If the farmer details are not found on the database,
8. Then, the registration form will open where the farmer has to enter their personal and bank details and click the ‘save’ button
9. The farmer needs to follow the instructions on the page and complete the registration process.

Offline registration process

The farmers can apply for this scheme offline by the process below.

• Then eligible farmers can apply for this scheme with the revenue officials, village Patwaris or other designated officers or agencies by submitting the required details to them.
• The eligible farmers can visit their nearest Common Service Centres (CSCs) for registration under the scheme upon payment of fees.

The details that are required to be provided for registration are:

• The Farmers Name
• Their Farmers Age
• Farmers Gender
•  Mobile number
•  Category (SC/ST)
•  Aadhaar Number
•  Bank Account Number .

farmers can register through the PM Kisan mobile application, And later after that then you need to do is to download the PM-Kisan mobile app from google play store or get the direct link to download the mobile app from PM Kisan website on your mobile.

The process of PM KISAN registration on the PM-Kisan mobile app is as follows:

• Firstly, Open the PM KISAN mobile app, And Then choose the language from the list and then click on the ‘New Farmer Registration’ button
• Secondly, Enter your Aadhar card number, Then Complete the Captcha and then click on the ‘Continue’ button
• And Then At last, Then Fill the registration form with your details like For Example your name, bank details, address, IFSC Code and land details, etc., Finally , Then click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the registration
